If it ain't broke…

Frank’s follow-up appointment with his neurologist was today. Thankfully, his MRI showed no new lesions either in his brain or along his spinal cord. Despite his minor problem with his thigh a couple of months ago, she’s pleased with his progress and felt comfortable doing what ever we decided as far as Frank’s treatment is concerned. Because it’s kept him in remission for almost six years and the MS doesn’t seem to be progressing, we’ve decided to stick with the Rebif for now. We won’t move on to the potentially brain-frying Tysabri until Frank shows a clear need for change. She did start him on a once-a-day medication to help with his fatigue. Less fatigue = more cakes. Hecks yeah.

I’ll be expecting the lemon tasting one anyday now. Gee whowudathunkit….Frank the Baker. Donte’s nickname in Germany was Donte the baker…..should they compare receipes? Maybe they can open their own little bakery called “2 Farts and a rolling pin” We can be the exclusive taste testers. :0)
On another note…so glad that things went the way they did at the docs. Always praying for y’all.

  2. That’s great news! I know that the new med was still scary because of it’s past, so that’s a good thing that Frank can hold off on taking it.

  3. That’s awesome news and has brought a big old smile to my face! So glad to hear that Moxie…high fives and cake all around! Hugs to you 🙂

  4. In the past I’ve taken Provigil for fatigue and it really helped. Great news on the lack of progression!
