Gentlemen, start your engines

More appropriately – ladies, load your Lupron. Or, shoot up your Follistim. Whatever.

The few wrinkles left are being smoothed out.

As of last night, all systems are go for cycling in December and transferring in January.

Chance and Apollo will be here in the Dirty South through December and January. Here. Finally, I'll meet my friends and literally embrace happenstance.

Tears? Oh, yes, there will be tears. This one is more than surrogacy. This one is family building family. This one is arms wide open. A homecoming. An expansion.

But most importantly, there will be laughter. Welcome, no-strings-attached laughter. Actually looking forward to laughing freely and spending time around little ones is a huge step forward for Chance and Apollo. Seeing as how my family and I are good at making asses of ourselves, we're happy to oblige.

I cannot wait.

  1. Shiiiit. And Frank has promised cake? I want to come!
Seriously though, I got a little tingle in my nose reading this. *Family*. Fuck, man. That’s great.

  2. Sounds great Moxie! Good luck to all of you for your cycle.
(If my last ditch attempt at IVF with my own uterus does not work, and if I still have the stamina left in me to run further on this track, I may knock on your door for help in navigating the GC world.)
