Closer

The meds have been ordered and the cycle has been paid for. The reality that this is all happening is snapping almost audibly into place. To say that we are excited is a gross understatement.

Chance and Apollo leave out tomorrow morning for their two-day trip here. They'll make it into the Savannah area sometime Monday evening.

They're coming over for dinner Tuesday evening. Baked tilapia, corn on the cob, broccoli, and roasted red potatoes are on the menu. Lemon lover's white chocolate cake and/or chocolate chip cookies are for dessert.

Frank and I are going back to Savannah with them Tuesday night. Can you say slumber party in the most teeny-bopper sense of the word? Seriously – we have matching pj's and plan to spend all night talking like a couple of giggly girls. Chance and I will demand that the menfolk keep us fed with a constant flow of incoming ice cream.

Wednesday morning we'll get up early and make the 2.5 hour drive to the clinic. Chance and Apollo have their initial in-house appointments with Dr. Sleepy. Technically, Frank and I don't have to be there. Chance wanted the support and I'm more than happy to provide.

One shot down and hopefully a zillion more to go.

I don’t think I’ve been so thrilled to see someone inject themselves. I’m just beside myself with excitement and anticipation . . . .eep!

Dude, I’m with Tash! I’m usually not so thrilled to hear that someone is giving themselves shots! But today, today, my friend, that is AWESOME.

Woohoo! Good luck! And isn’t it a teeny bit weird I’m a little ‘jealous’ of the injection? What the hell is wrong with me?
