Featured below are Frank's chocolate chip Big Ones. Though different in composition, all of his Big Ones are about this size and shape. Anywhere from 4 to 5.5 carefully measured ounces of dough goes into each cookie (depending on the type). They're about 5.5 inches in diameter and 0.5 – 0.75 of an inch thick.
Frank's Big Ones compared to yo' mama's mama name brand cookie:
Since going live a bit more than a week ago, we've sold 30 dozen via Etsy and 7 dozen locally. Reviews are coming in and people are raving. Get your Big Ones now at opening prices while you still can! In a couple of weeks, pricing will go up by $2 a dozen.
At the insistence of Heather and Katie, Frank's now has his own Facebook fan page. I promise that it was totally their idea (it was). Heather's been Twittering the hell out of Frank's cookies and Katie finally got to taste hers last night. One thing lead to another, and the next thing I know Heather is sending me the user name and password to Frank's page and telling me to add in the details of his profile. (which, mind you, he didn't even HAVE a Facebook account until then). Heather (and her dear, nut-hatin' Jase) have also been hard at work designing an independent Website for Frank's biz where you can both keep up with his blog (of which I will undoubtely write 90% of the content as his idiot sous chef) and also place orders. Look for that to go live in a couple of months.
Thanks so, so very much to the many of you who have ordered so far. We seriously never expected even half the response that we have received. We sit behind my laptop and clap and giggle like a couple of goofy chimps each time a new order or review comes in.
Later tonight (probably tomorrow) I will get back to regularly scheduled programming and write a real post that has (almost) nothing to do with Frank's balls (of cookie dough, that is).
