Sockeroo ~ Fall 2011

According to Dictionary.comsockeroo is defined as a notable success. We might not all have successes on our individual journeys, but what we never fail at is offering support to one another. We’re like a good pair of socks: no matter our different appearances or compositions, we provide warmth, comfort, and support.

Welcome to The Sockeroo – a list of notable successes in the support and warmth found within this blogging community. If you have written a Sock It to Me post, plug in your information below. Be sure to read some of the other posts and leave those bloggers some warm and fuzzies in their comments.

Even if you didn’t participate in the actual sock exchange, you’re more than welcome to write a post about the theme of this round of Sock It to Me:

It has been roughly a year and a half since the last SITM Exchange. Reflect on the past 18 or so months โ€“ how has support from others, either in the blogosphere or otherwise, helped you?

Be sure to add the permalink to your post to the widget so that we can blog hop sock hop (<— see how I just did that right there? I am The Witty.)

For the participants who are non-bloggers, don’t forget – if you want to write up an entry, you can send it to me, and I’ll post it on your behalf.

Sock It to Me Week will officially ends on Sunday, September 18, but there will be no expiration date on adding posts to the Sockeroo.

For those of you who did exchange socks/office supplies, I have some gangsta bling for you, if you want to add it to your sidebars/posts for bragging purposes. If you participated in a SITM exchange while I was still blogging at I’m a Smart One, you are a platinum Original Gangsta. If you’re a noob and this is your first time, you’re a gold Lil’ Gangsta. You’re welcome to pick up whichever badge is applicable to you. Word.

  1. yay sockeroo!

i didn’t sign up this time, because i feel like i’ll die if i add even one more thing to get done (not that i’m getting so many things done, mind, just that i’m failing anyway), but not because you and this project don’t kick some serious ass.
